SF mission

So i know i promised i wouldnt lag too hard on the sf stuff, so here it goes. Me, Negrete, Lee, and Victor headed up to "the city" around 9 pm. We arrived at our hotel around 3:30 in the morning with enough energy to make a late night donuts excursion. A couple of jelly donuts and a hot choco later and we were all passed out.. we woke up and skated and stuff but i guess ill slow down there and lets the pics do the talking..

Mitchells is supposedly the best ice cream in the US.. maybe the world. Im not too sure because i didnt see the special on the travel channel that everyone was talking about, but the ice cream was pretty damn good. And since we dont have a picture now is a good time to preach the word of "goood frickin chicken" which was also right up the street and very goood. And the 3 o's are not mistakes, thats how it is spelled.

So thats about it for our SF mission. I hope the pictures will suffice, uploading them was a pain. We hope to go back to sf soon but we'll see how that turns out when the time comes. The skating was amazing thanks to jeff and erik and everyone else who came out. Thanks to them for the sleeping space as well. Thanks for reading this crap. We also filmed alot of this stuff so hopefully we have an edit soon.. fade nation 2 underway..

Update about updates

Sooo its been a little over a week since weve done something here.. my baadddd. We went to San Francisco the weekend of the 11th - 13th and skated with Jeff Stockwell and Erik Bailey out there. Lee and Victor were holding it down too. Erik's roommates are all really cool and nice and hooked us up with some groundspacee.. Lots of lines, follow-cams, and a ton of photos out there.. Then we stayed in LA this past weekend and hit up some good spots. Ryan Santos, Anthony Williams, Steven Cortez, Obidobe, JC Rowe, Nick Rother, Victor Galícia, Lee and Rachard all came out this weekend, and everybody got clips. Go team. Anyways.. since im at work doing a bunch of crap i dont yet have time to upload all the pictures from the past weeks.. I will however leave you with a cool little video i made of my room cleaning itself. I did this about 3 years ago when i still lived in Dallas.. peep game..


this picture is of my cubicle. I spend about 40 hours a week here. To the right of my cubicle is Kevin Gillan. On the other side of the wall is Brian who used to be mindgames only employee. Now we all work together and it makes showing up everyday a little easier. Im often talk about work and how stupid my desk is. It is always covered in garbage. I dont know why but i think if your work area is clean then youre not focusing enough on the work. Im always juggling multiple crap so i need a ton of different tools to get everything done.. off hand i see my laptop, the imac, a light table, a vcr, scattered helmet packaging, a canon battery charger, the case for the gl1, the canon digicam, some transparencies for making silk screen films, a coke, a starbucks drink, the color index, some highlighters, 2feet vids, fade nation videos.. and a ton of other things.. im still working on downsizing all the sf pics so bear with me..

Haffey's Birthday.

January 8th.. so its Chris Haffey's birthday today, and his roommate threw a surprise party for him. Ive never been a part of a big surprise party walk-in thing, so me and lee and kev rolled over to be a part. We were fashionably the earliest people there, but we live the closest too so give us a break. We helped blow up balloons and get the decorations ready (actaully kevin and lee did most of the balloons) and trudie and myself went to get the beers. After all the setup and everyone arriving we actually had a very successful "SURPRISE" yell..
